Clinton for president. 

Nancy Pelosi weet al wie de Democratische presidentskandidaat moet worden in 2016:

Pelosi is upbeat about the prospects for a female president in her lifetime, namely her friend Hillary Rodham Clinton.

"Why wouldn't she run? She's a magnificent secretary of state," Pelosi said when asked about Clinton's prospects in 2016. "She's our shot" that year, Pelosi said.

Pelosi is de leider van de Democraten in het Huis van Afgevaardigden. In die positie heeft ze dus behoorlijk veel macht binnen de partij.

Ik denk dat kiezes het erg prettig vinden om te horen dat het achter gesloten deuren al besloten is wie over vier jaar de Democratische partij mag representeren. Dan hoeven ze de moeite ook niet te nemen om dan nog te gaan stemmen, nietwaar? Wel zo praktisch.
