Gingrich loopt in op Romney, neemt zelfs leiding in peiling

Ik ben dan wel voor Mitt Romney, maar toch hoop ik dat het echte een close race wordt tussen hem en Newt Gingrich. Als dat niet zo is hebben we namelijk een paar maanden niets om over te schrijven.
Nee, laat het maar zo spannend mogelijk worden. Prima dus, dit:
An InsiderAdvantage poll conducted Wednesday night has former House Speaker Newt Gingrich now leading the Republican primary race in South Carolina. The poll of likely Republican primary voters has Gingrich with 32 percent, ahead of Mitt Romney who trailed close behind at 29 percent. It means that the race is up for grabs, declared InsiderAdvantage chief chief pollster Matt Towery in an exclusive interview with Newsmax shortly after the poll was conducted.
Natuurlijk is Romney ook nog de favoriet als Gingrich wint in South Carolina, maar toch; een beetje spanning zou wel leuk zijn.
