De Israelische VN-ambassadeur, Ron Prosor, zegt dat Bashar al-Assad in staat is om chemische wapens in te zetten tegen zijn eigen volk:

Dat klopt, natuurlijk. Aan de andere kant weten we dat Al Qaeda - de terroristenclub die de rebellen steunt - ook maar wat graag chemische wapens gebruikt om die vervolgens te gebruiken tegen 'ongelovigen' en / of 'afvalligen'. Beide partijen zijn dus massamoordenaars in spé.
