De Britse Labour Party zet de aanval vol in op Nick Clegg, leider van de Liberal Democrats.
Labour has drawn up plans to decapitate the Liberal Democrats by ousting Nick Clegg from Parliament at the next election. Ed Miliband yesterday issued a humiliating public rebuff to the Lib Dem leader after he hinted he would like to form a coalition with Labour after the next election. And a source on Labours ruling National Executive Committee told the Daily Mail the party was now pouring resources into Mr Cleggs Sheffield Hallam constituency in a bid to get him booted out by the voters next year.
Dit is een grote gok voor de socialisten. Clegg heeft namelijk al gezegd dat hij na de volgende verkiezingen graag met hen wil regeren. Als Labour nu de aanval vol op hem inzet zou hij de Conservatives weleens trouw kunnen blijven. Aangenomen dat die twee partijen samen voldoende zetels in handen zullen krijgen/houden om samen te regeren, tenminste.
