Bam! Ook Britse krant The Express omarmt Thierry Baudet: "Dutch PM Rutte SAVAGED"

Thierry Baudet, the leader of the eurosceptic Forum for Democracy, launched a withering attack just as Dutch prime minister Mark Rutte tried to back away from his anti-Brexit stance.

The party leader said that the Dutch prime minister refused to listen to the will of the Dutch people after twice rejecting anti-EU referendums.

Mr Baudet warned that national parliaments had become a "stepping stone" for politicians who wanted a cushy job in Brussels.

Mr Baudet ripped into the Prime Minister's desperate Brexit fear-mongering, in which he claimed the "the UK would collapse politically, economically, monetarily, and constitutionally".

However, since the Brexit vote, the UK has become the fast-growing economy in the G7, while unemployment has dramatically declined.

Het moge dus duidelijk zijn: het Forum voor Democratie is bezig met een opmars. Dat is te zien in de peilingen, maar ook in het internationale aanzien dat Thierry Baudets nog jonge partij langzaam aan het verwerven is. Baudet-haters die denken dat ze met één of twee “kip ik heb je”-citaatjes van Baudet de beweging kunnen uitschakelen hebben het verkeerd begrepen, want deze partij is here to stay.
