Amerikas nieuwe nomaden
Extreem.
Dit is nogal extreem te noemen, maar toch ook wel weer interessant:
A small band of American nomads have given up the trappings of modern life to make the wild expanse of rugged land across the U.S. - from Idaho to California - their home. Relying solely on their survival skills and ability to hunt and forage for food, this new tribe of Americans travel across remote tracts of land, moving with the seasons or on a whim. Their roaming lifestyle was captured by photographer Adrain Chesser, who followed a small group from 2006 to 2012, to document the pleasures and occasional hardships encountered in their quest for a free lifestyle.
Het Britse de Daily Mail heeft enkele van die foto's online gezet. Het is fantastisch om te zien hoe die mensen leven, en vooral ook dat sommige individuen zich kleden als moderne indianen... behalve de comfortabele wandelschoenen die ze dragen. Dat is natuurlijk vrij hilarisch, maar voor de rest leven ze echt op een behoorlijk 'natuurlijke' wijze.
Nu hopen dat ze geen andere stammen tegenkomen; voor je het weet verklaren ze elkaar de oorlog en zitten we opeens opgescheept met massamoordende nomaden.
